Wendy Williams has reportedly been moved to the memory care section of her assisted living facility, though it’s said to have nothing to do with concerns about dementia.
TMZ shared a report saying that Williams now lives on the 5th floor, away from the top-floor restaurant where she was previously served alcohol.
It’s important to note that Williams denies having dementia and insists she’s not “cognitively impaired.”

An employee from the facility stated, “Wendy doesn't have good and bad days. She's the same all the time. You can tell her something today, and 2 weeks later she'll remember it. Her memory is fine.”
Williams herself has called claims of memory loss and dementia “disgusting” and “fake,” adding it made her feel “trapped in a prison.”
She’s also under a conservatorship, managed by lawyer Sabrina Morrissey, which reportedly restricts her phone calls and limits her to a small apartment with just a TV and bed.
In a past statement, Williams said, “I'm in this place where the people are in their 90s and their 80s and their 70s. There's something wrong with these people here on this floor.”
“I keep the door closed. I watch TV. I listen to the radio. I watch the window. I sit here, and my life goes by.”
