Justin Baldoni Opens Up About "Intense" Year Amid Legal Battle with Blake Lively

Justin Baldoni got emotional while discussing a tough year in a teaser for an upcoming episode of the Gent’s Talk podcast.

The 40-year-old actor-director, in an interview filmed last November, admitted he struggled with anxiety during his ongoing legal fight with Blake Lively.

Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment in a complaint filed with the California Civil Rights Department.

She also claims he orchestrated a smear campaign against her, which led to a formal lawsuit.

Baldoni has strongly denied the accusations and responded with a lawsuit against The New York Times for covering the complaint.

He has also filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist.

Baldoni’s lawyer recently stated that the case has left him "devastated financially and emotionally."

To defend himself, Baldoni released text messages and raw footage from their movie It Ends with Us to challenge Lively’s claims.

In response, Lively’s legal team requested a gag order, arguing that his public statements could influence the jury.

Baldoni’s team opposed it, accusing her of trying to silence him.

Shortly after, a voicemail in which Baldoni repeatedly apologized to Lively surfaced online.

The trial is set for May 2026. As the legal fight drags on, Baldoni’s interview highlights the emotional toll it has taken on him.
