The pop star drove four hours to safety at a hotel.
On Friday, Spears shared an update on Instagram, posting a photo of pink stiletto shoes on a doll.
“I hope you are all doing OK !!! I had to evacuate my home and I’m driving 4 hours to a hotel !!! I’m posting these adorable shoes to lift people’s spirits !!! Most people may not even be on their phones !!!” she wrote.
She also explained her earlier absence from social media: “I had no electricity to charge and I just got my phone back !!! I pray you’re all doing well and I send my love !!!”
The singer is among many affected as the fires continue to spread.
