Snoop Dogg recently revealed how he spends Thanksgiving, and it’s all about family, fun, and a touch of whimsy.
In a candid chat on Let’s Go!, the legendary rapper shared that his celebrations are refreshingly simple.
“It’s really basic,” Snoop said, emphasizing his focus on quality time with his 12 grandkids. “We pull out jumpers and have little things for them.”
The rapper, known for his laid-back persona, also revealed his playful side. “I get to be a character that day,” he said, hinting at his holiday tradition of dressing up. “I may put on a costume and dress up and not even be Paw-Paw.”
For Snoop, the holidays are about creating lasting memories. “I may be a character all day, maybe Buzz Lightyear or some----, you know what I’m saying?” he joked, highlighting the joy he finds in making his grandkids laugh.
Reflecting on his life now, the 53-year-old icon said, “That’s the joy in my life now, being a grown man with grandkids and really enjoying it.”
This heartfelt insight comes shortly after an emotional moment on The Voice, where Snoop shed tears while sending teammates home.
“I didn’t think I was gonna get this emotional,” he admitted during the show. “I love these three girls. Y’all made me proud.”
From his music to his family life, Snoop Dogg continues to show he’s as real as it gets—both on and off the stage.
