As divorce proceedings with Jennifer Lopez continue to stall, Ben Affleck reportedly has more on his mind than legal matters.
According to sources, the actor is increasingly concerned about Lopez’s connection to the supernatural.
Affleck's fears echo claims made by Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noa, who once alleged she used "voodoo hexes" against him.
Insiders told In Touch that the tension has grown as negotiations over their shared mansion fell apart in the final stage.
“She’s shown him some pretty impressive skills over the years as far as predicting certain things and just her ability to manifest stuff,” a source revealed, hinting at Lopez’s supposed paranormal abilities.
“She wholeheartedly believes in the supernatural, you just have to watch the movie about her life she wrote and directed to see how into it she is, so it’s pretty understandable that Ben is nervous!”
The insider added that while Affleck may joke about it, “there’s definitely a part of him that does believe she might have the power to do something like that.”
As the couple's relationship hangs in limbo, Affleck reportedly remains uneasy about Lopez's spiritual side, even joking that he needs to stay on her "good side" to avoid any potential curses.
