Pete Davidson Focuses on Mental Health, Takes Time Off Work

Comedian Pete Davidson has decided to step back from his busy schedule to prioritize his mental health.

Known for his roles on "Saturday Night Live" and numerous stand-up performances, Pete has checked himself into a mental health facility.

Earlier, Pete shared that he has been diagnosed with PTSD and borderline personality disorder.

A source told PEOPLE, "Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues. His friends and family have been supportive during this time."

Just last year, Pete made light of his struggles during a comedy show with John Mulaney and Jon Stewart in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

“I am fresh out of rehab, everyone,” he quipped to the audience at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Ettes Arena. “I got that post-rehab glow. Seventh time’s the charm!”

This news follows a demanding period for Pete, who recently completed 200 live stand-up comedy shows across the US.
