Sad news broke today with the announcement of O.J. Simpson's passing.
The family of the former football star and actor confirmed that he died on April 10 at the age of 76.
The news was shared by his family on social media, stating: "On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace. – The Simpson Family."

Initially known for his successful NFL career and later acting ventures, Simpson's life took a tumultuous turn when he was accused of the murders of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
