Sophie Turner has taken legal action in her divorce case with Joe Jonas, seeking to revive proceedings according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Monday.
Turner, 28, along with her legal representatives, filed paperwork in Miami-Dade County, Florida, signaling the end of abatement and requesting the case's reactivation.
A spokesperson for Jonas, 34, informed PEOPLE that the filing was a procedural step, emphasizing that discussions for an amicable resolution between the former couple are ongoing.
Despite their separation, the duo, who exchanged vows in May 2019, had previously established a temporary custody arrangement for their two daughters.
Jonas initiated the divorce process in September 2023 in Miami, citing irretrievable breakdown of their four-year marriage.
The couple shares parenting responsibilities for their daughters, Willa, born in 2020, and Delphine, welcomed in 2022.
As the legal proceedings unfold, attention remains on the negotiations between Turner and Jonas for a mutually agreeable resolution.
