The recent appearance of Simon Cowell on American Idol has stirred conversations and raised eyebrows, with many questioning the 64-year-old judge's evolving looks.
In an analysis provided to Page Six, celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ramtin Kassir shared his insights, suggesting that Cowell may not be entirely forthcoming about the extent of his cosmetic procedures.
This commentary comes in the wake of Cowell's admission two years prior, acknowledging that he had perhaps gone "a bit too far" with Botox and facial fillers, though asserting that he hadn't undergone surgery since.
"I haven’t had a facelift or anything. I’ve had a bit of Botox or whatever, but nothing drastic. So when I hear about this stuff, honestly it does make me laugh," Cowell had disclosed on the show in 2023.
However, Dr. Kassir contends that Cowell's current appearance, characterized by a "swollen" face, suggests a combination of excessive fillers and a potential lift.
"He just looks like he has way too much volume in his face, which is usually way too much filler in his face. The filler accumulates and starts getting into your lymphatics and blocks the lymphatic drainage in your face and you get a really, really full face and tight face," explained the triple board-certified surgeon.
Furthermore, Dr. Kassir highlighted the presence of ripples on Cowell’s neck as a "giveaway" of potential "bad liposuction and neck surgery," possibly indicating uneven fat removal and scarring.
