The British royal family has recently made a significant announcement regarding King Charles amidst swirling foreign conspiracy theories concerning the monarch, igniting a firestorm on social media platforms.
In a statement posted on their official social media channels, including X (formerly known as Twitter and Instagram), the palace unveiled the latest photographs of King Charles and disclosed his recent engagement with veterans of the Korean War at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
The announcement stated, "This morning, the King met veterans of the Korean War at Buckingham Palace to mark 70 years since the signing of the armistice which ended the conflict."
Further elaborating on the historical significance of the event, the post's caption highlighted, "60,000 service personnel from across Britain and the Commonwealth saw action, with 1,100 losing their lives."
Later in the day, the Princess Royal and the Duchess of Edinburgh graciously hosted a reception at the Palace on behalf of King Charles, commemorating the anniversary of what has been dubbed as "the Forgotten War."
Addressing previous speculations propagated by a Russian news organization alleging the demise of the monarch, the palace swiftly debunked the claims.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Palace reassured the public, asserting, "We are happy to confirm that The King is continuing with official and private business."
The announcement not only dispelled the baseless rumors but also underscored the monarch's steadfast commitment to his duties, both official and private, amid ongoing speculation.
