After a brief hiatus due to his wife Kate Middleton's surgery, Prince William has returned to his royal duties with apparent enthusiasm.

The Prince of Wales was spotted in Wrexham on St. David’s Day, marking the national celebration in Wales.

However, notably absent was his wife, who is still recuperating from abdominal surgery.

His first stop was The Turf pub, where he mingled with locals and soaked in the atmosphere of the festivities.

Despite Kate's absence, Prince William seemed engaged and eager to participate in the events.

Taking advantage of social media platforms, the Prince shared glimpses of his visit on X, formerly known as Twitter and Instagram.

He posted photos from his trip, expressing his joy at being in Wrexham and highlighting the activities he participated in during the day.

"Great to be in Wrexham today. First up, seeing the work of All Saints School, running their own brilliant Eisteddfodau," Prince William captioned one of his posts.

He also paid tribute to the 90th anniversary of the Gresford mining disaster, visiting the memorial and acknowledging its significance in Welsh history.

The palace further amplified Prince William's presence by sharing a video of his visit on social media, using the hashtag #HappyStDavidsDay to celebrate the occasion.

Despite the absence of Kate Middleton by his side, Prince William's engagement with the community and his commitment to his royal responsibilities were evident throughout his visit to Wrexham.
