Former footballer Tom Garratt has responded with a refreshingly laid-back attitude after a video of him engaging in an intimate act with another man during a holiday surfaced online.
The viral clip, which has since been deleted, captured Garratt's moment of levity amidst laughter from bystanders.
Now a successful content creator covering sports, the 29-year-old expressed indifference towards the leaked video during an episode of his Pitch Side podcast on February 5, 2024.

"It's from seven years ago, which obviously doesn't change the fact that what happened, happened," Garratt addressed the incident. "Obviously, we were on holiday and it got a bit messy, and we thought it would be funny to... yeah."
Remaining unfazed, Garratt remarked, "We had a great time, we had a great laugh, and I don't know how the video got out, but it has. And you've just got to f***ing firm it – unlike my mate did. So, if anyone's looking for a holiday buddy for the summer, I might be going to Tenerife. I'll see you there!"
Acknowledging his penchant for spontaneity, Garratt humorously assured, "I'm 'partial' to 'being a bit fruity' but will 'make sure there's no cameras' next time."

Addressing the video on TikTok, Garratt reaffirmed his stance, stating, "I stand by the fact it's funny. It doesn't mean I'm bi, it doesn't mean I'm gay… Well, maybe it does. And if I am, I am! All right?"
While pointing out the breach of privacy, he quipped, "Whoever leaked it is weirder than me."
In a final remark, Garratt emphasized, "What goes on holiday should stay on holiday – so leave me alone!"
