Justin Timberlake marked his 43rd birthday with a sensational one-night-only show at New York City's Irving Plaza. Amidst a backdrop of hits spanning his illustrious career, Timberlake seized the moment to make a bold statement: he has "nobody" to apologize to.
The former NSYNC heartthrob turned solo sensation captivated the crowd with a blend of classic favorites and tantalizing previews from his upcoming album, Everything I Thought It Was, slated for release on March 15.
Before launching into his iconic 2002 track, "Cry Me a River," Timberlake paused to address the audience, delivering candid remarks. "I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f---ing nobody," Timberlake declared, setting the tone for the evening.
Timberlake's unapologetic stance is sparking outrage among Britney Spears fans. Check out the comments below:
CONFIRMED: Justin Timberlake is still a misogynistic piece of fucking shit. I don’t understand how y’all think this is “cool” to publicly attack a woman for 20 years pic.twitter.com/zj1A068RhD

This isn't the first time Timberlake has performed the hit song in recent memory. At the opening of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in December, he prefaced the performance with a declaration of "No disrespect!"
Timberlake's unapologetic stance follows recent commentary from Spears in her memoir, The Woman in Me. Spears revisited the narrative of the song's music video, characterizing it as portraying "a woman who looks like me cheats on him and he wanders around sad in the rain."
