Beyoncé continues to reign supreme as her latest single, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” ascends to the coveted No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The track, which debuted at No. 2 just a week prior, marks the superstar’s ninth chart-topper, her first since the release of “Break My Soul” back in 2022.

This milestone achievement comes hot on the heels of another historic feat for Beyoncé, as “Texas Hold ‘Em” secured her inaugural No. 1 spot on the multimetric Hot Country Songs survey.

Notably, prior to this accomplishment, no Black woman or biracial female artist had ever reached the summit of the country charts.

Released alongside “16 Carriages” on February 11, “Texas Hold ‘Em” was introduced to the world through a Verizon commercial aired during the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast on CBS.

The single's release was complemented by instrumental, clean, and explicit a cappella versions on February 14, further solidifying Beyoncé’s multifaceted musical prowess.

Under the Parkwood/Columbia Records/Columbia Nashville label, “Texas Hold ‘Em” joins the elite ranks of chart-toppers, becoming the 1,164th song to claim the No. 1 spot in the Hot 100’s illustrious 65-year history.

Fans eagerly anticipate Beyoncé’s upcoming album slated for release on March 29, following the success of her 2022 Renaissance LP.
