Unsealed court records have exposed a list of more than 100 individuals connected to the notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The documents, linked to a 2015 defamation lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, shed light on a web of relationships involving Epstein and his associates, as reported by The Independent.
Among the prominent figures named are Prince Andrew and former US President Bill Clinton. The court files, released under a judge's order, include victims, friends, and acquaintances of Epstein and Maxwell. Notably, this list encompasses individuals with varying degrees of connection to Epstein's alleged sex trafficking activities.
Epstein, a millionaire financier with ties to royalty and celebrities, faced accusations of running a vast network of underage girls for sexual exploitation. His high-profile connections brought the case into the public eye. While awaiting trial in 2019, Epstein died by suicide in his jail cell.
The disclosed legal documents, pertaining to the defamation lawsuit, have prompted scrutiny into the relationships of those listed. Notably, Prince Andrew is mentioned prominently, facing a previously reported accusation of groping Johanna Sjoberg, which he denies. Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are also named, with neither accused of any wrongdoing.
