Tragedy Strikes Lewiston, Maine as Multiple Shootings Leave 16 Dead and Dozens Injured



In a horrifying incident, at least 16 people have lost their lives and over 50 have been injured in a series of shootings in Lewiston, Maine, as reported by various sources including CNN, Fox News, and NBC News.

The shootings took place at Schemengees Bar and Grille and Sparetime Recreation, as confirmed by the Lewiston Police Department.

Following the incident, the City of Lewiston swiftly issued a shelter-in-place order, urging residents to stay indoors, keep doors locked, and avoid unfamiliar individuals.

The suspect, armed with an assault rifle, has been captured in photos shared by the police. Authorities have cautioned the public to remain vigilant and obey all instructions given by local officials.
