Bebe Rexha has bravely opened up about a vulnerability that many might assume her fellow artists are immune to: the weight of performance pressure.
Using her platform on TikTok, the singer candidly shared her battle with anxiety attacks leading up to her appearance on the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet.
"The VMAs are tomorrow and I am anxious AF," she confessed, adding, "I want to start off by saying that I'm very grateful and blessed to be able to be invited to these awards shows and do what I love. I know that the criticism comes with the territory so I am all good with that."

In a candid reflection of her mental well-being, Bebe Rexha shed light on her struggles, saying, "I am human, but I wanted just to talk about this because I meet a lot of people and a lot of times they'll be like, 'Oh my god, I love how you're all about positivity and confident.' Let me tell you, right now, I'm not feeling so confident."
Bebe continued that she feels anxious and stressed about walking the red carpet, with concerns about people discussing her weight because she is currently struggling to love herself. The star mentioned not feeling like the confident person she typically is.
