During the "Eras Tour" stop in Seattle, Taylor Swift displayed evident amusement while performing her track "This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things," known for its diss towards Kanye West. Onstage at Lumen Field, the renowned singer burst into laughter, unable to contain her mirth during the performance.

Taylor's joyous reaction came after she delivered the first verse of the song, which was released in 2017. "I can't even say it with a straight face," she admitted while giggling, before continuing her rendition. This marked the first time she had performed the song live since 2018.

Before breaking into laughter, Taylor sang the following lines: "Here's a toast to my real friends/ They don't care about the he said, she said/ And here's to my baby/ He ain't reading what they call me lately/ And here's to my mama/ Had to listen to all this drama. And here's to you, cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do."

A fan recorded Taylor's infectious laughter during the performance and uploaded it to TikTok. In response, the video quickly garnered numerous reactions and comments. Although the song does not explicitly name Kanye or confirm its subject, many speculate that it alludes to forgiving the rapper.

Particularly, the verse mentioning friends not trying to deceive and manipulate has been widely interpreted in connection to Taylor's feud with Kanye. The feud was brought into the spotlight when a phone conversation between Taylor and Kanye was recorded without her consent at a Los Angeles studio and later leaked by Kanye's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
