The tension between the Sussexes and the royal family has only intensified since the couple openly discussed their challenges with The Firm. The couple has encountered a series of setbacks in their business endeavors, including the collapse of their deal with Spotify, which may have influenced their consideration to return to the UK.
As reported by OK! Magazine, Harry and Meghan are exploring the possibility of renting an apartment in Kensington Palace, which they intend to furnish themselves, with the hope of rebuilding their relationships with the royal family.
Harry is hoping that this gesture will demonstrate their commitment to returning to the fold and perhaps please Prince William.
However, Harry is also cautious about not feeling confined by the constraints of palace life, as he values maintaining balance in their lives and safeguarding their mental well-being.
Nevertheless, there are concerns that the royals may not be enthusiastic about welcoming the couple back. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams expressed his skepticism, considering the damage already done. Similarly, royal biographer Tom Bower opined that Prince Harry's previous actions have caused significant harm to the family, raising concerns that his return could exacerbate the situation further.
