Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, former spouses, have reportedly come to a decision to put an end to their acrimonious legal dispute.
According to reports, the ex-couple is planning to resolve their winery disagreement outside of the courtroom.
After being together for 12 years, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their divorce in 2016. Since then, they have been entangled in a legal battle over their winery business following Jolie's sale of her share. Now, it appears that they are taking steps towards resolving the matter amicably.
Recently filed legal documents reveal that both celebrities have agreed to pursue mediation for the property issue instead of pursuing a court battle, as reported by DailyMail.
Allegedly, Angelina Jolie is willing to attend a settlement conference, while Brad Pitt has appointed a "provisional administrator" for their extensive estate in the south of France, a property they acquired 15 years ago.
A neutral party will assess the Chateau and assist in negotiations between Pitt and the subsidiary of the Stoli Group, after Jolie sold her share to boss Yuri Shefler in 2021.
Back in 2008, they jointly purchased the property for €25 million and collaborated with winemaker Marc Perrin to establish a highly successful international rose brand.
Following their separation, Angelina sold her share without notifying her ex-husband directly, leading Pitt to accuse her of intentionally keeping him unaware of the decision.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, also known as Brangelina, made their relationship official in January 2006. They have six children together - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. The couple got married in April 2012 after seven years of dating but eventually separated in 2016. Custody arrangements concerning their family are still being discussed.
