The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has not attended the Easter church outing with the royal family, according to PEOPLE.
Despite attending other events such as Trooping the Colour and the annual Christmas walk, Meghan and Prince Harry chose to skip the gathering at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in 2018, just weeks before their wedding.
The following year, Meghan was unable to attend due to her pregnancy, while Harry attended solo. In 2020 and 2021, the usual Easter outing was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, in 2022, the royal family returned to the Easter church outing, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte making their debut at the event. Queen Elizabeth did not attend the service, but often worshipped online in the last years of her life, according to a source.
Meghan famously accompanied Harry to the royal family's Christmas celebrations in 2017, despite being an unmarried partner of a royal, which was not typical protocol at the time.
The couple later announced their intention to step back as senior members of the royal family and relocated to Meghan's home state of California in 2020.

It is currently unclear whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend King Charles' coronation next month, as their spokesperson has not confirmed their attendance.
The relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family has remained strained following Harry's memoir release in January, and the coronation ceremony also falls on their son Archie's fourth birthday.
