The Russian social media star has caused surprise and outrage among his followers after a video of him apparently assaulting his cat companion, a Scottish Fold named Barsik, briefly appeared on his official YouTube account.
In the footage, the 3-foot-4 MMA fighter appears to mistreat his pet by pulling its ear forcefully and hitting it on the head.

Following the initial encounter, Barsik retreats to its bed, where Hasbulla continues to hit it.
Although Hasbulla's face is not visible in the video, it is highly probable that it is him, given that he was seen in a parallel video wearing the same shirt and wristwatch, and that the recording was made at his home.
As criticism and concern mounted, Hasbulla released a new video in which he speaks in the Dagestani dialect of the region and claims that his cat is "feeling good."
The influencer explained that he had "gently" pulled Barsik's ear on Friday as a form of discipline for "misbehaving."
