In an Instagram Story, Nelson tearfully shared her frustration with how her interviews about her latest single, which is about domestic violence, are often overshadowed by questions about her former bandmates.
The Music Industry's Treatment of Women
Nelson also spoke up about the music industry's tendency to pit women against each other.
She expressed her disgust towards the constant comparison and competition among female artists and how it takes away from the important issues that they are advocating for.
