Despite coming from a family with humble beginnings, Barbie remained grateful for her parents' support in pursuing her dream of becoming an actress.
In an interview with Karen Davila, she shared how she entered the industry through commercial ads and as an extra in GMA shows, which she found challenging but fulfilling.
Since then, Barbie has starred in more than 20 television series, including the hit show "Maria Clara at Ibarra," which showcased her excellent acting skills and successful love team with co-star David Licauco.
