New information and graphic photos have been released regarding the death of Naomi Judd, who died by suicide at her family's Tennessee compound in April 2022.
The photos, obtained from a suicide police file released by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, include images of Naomi's blood-spattered bed sheets and a handgun on a nightstand.
Naomi's husband and daughter initially tried to block the release of the police file, but they dropped their case in December 2022.

The documents reveal that it was Naomi's daughter Ashley who found her mother after she shot herself in the head.
Ashley reported that Naomi had been in a manic state before the suicide and had screamed, "Kill me, kill me now. I don't want to live!"
Despite attempts to revive her, Naomi was pronounced dead at the scene.
