Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, who have a history of bad blood between them, will now be sharing the same manager.
Minaj has recently signed with Range Media Partners and will be represented by Melissa Rudderman, according to Billboard.
Rudderman, who previously worked at Roc Nation, has been instrumental in maximizing the Mariah Carey brand in recent years, and Carey even joined Rudderman at Range when she made the move.
This management change for Minaj comes on the heels of her signing with Wassim “Sal” Slaiby's SALCO in September 2021.
Slaiby is known for his management of The Weeknd, but Minaj's tenure with his company was short-lived. Minaj has had a number of different management teams in the past.
From 2019 to 2021, she was represented by industry giant Irving Azoff at Full Stop Management. Prior to that, her career was overseen by Gee Roberson and Cortez Bryant at Blueprint/Maverick Management.
With her recent success in 2022, releasing music and topping the charts with the hit song "Super Freaky Girl," many are curious about Minaj's next move.
