BLACKPINK's oldest member, Jisoo, has revealed that she will finally be making her much-anticipated solo debut in 2023.
In late 2021, Jisoo had previously mentioned her solo debut plans during a video call with a fan, leading many to believe that it would happen in the near future.
However, YG Entertainment later announced that Jisoo would not be debuting as a solo artist and that BLACKPINK would be making a comeback with "BORN PINK" and embarking on a world tour.

Recently, Jisoo gave an update on her solo career, saying that there had been a lot of conflict and questions regarding the style and genre of her music.
