Adele took a moment during one of her recent concerts to express her support for Megan Thee Stallion as the trial against Tory Lanez came to a close.
In between songs, Adele joked with the audience about why she doesn't have backup dancers at her shows, mentioning a viral TikTok video featuring Megan Thee Stallion dancing to one of her songs.

Adele then went on to wish Megan Thee Stallion a Merry Christmas and encouraged her to do whatever she wants.
Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was recently found guilty on all three felony charges for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.

The jury convicted Lanez of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a concealed firearm in his vehicle, and negligent discharge of a firearm.
He could face a prison sentence of up to 22 years and eight months, and may also face deportation. His sentencing is scheduled for January 23, 2023.
