As a result of the 4,000-foot fall, the Canadian Beauty queen succumbed at approximately 5:40 pm to her injuries.
Skydive Toronto said that Tanya had released her chute when it was too low to inflate, but on their website, it indicates that static divers have their chutes set to open automatically.

Tanya had already completed one course with the Innisfil, Ontario-based firm before she died, qualifying her to take what organizers called a "Solo First Jump Course."
On TikTok, Tanya had 100k followers and posted videos about various topics. In her last video, posted on August 22, she discussed Tetris and a puzzle she completed with Adderall.
