After the Grenfell tragedy, the volunteers have been formed to help support bereaved families.
In 2018, Meghan and Prince Harry visited The Hubb Community Kitchen after 72 people died in the fire at North Kensington tower block.

In the aftermath of the June 14, 2017 blaze, the initiative, which was supported by Meghan and Harry, provided support and meals to bereaved families in west London.
After five years, voluntary staff at the kitchen posted on their Facebook page that Meghan had contacted them this week.

According to them, the Duchess of Sussex asked about their welfare and told them about her children, Archie and Lilibet.
"Today is a day spent looking back, remembering and reflecting," they wrote. "I just found this picture of us all, on the day our cookbook came out."
