Recently, Priyanka Chopra opened up about her experience as a new parent.
In a recent interview with Lilly Singh, the actress discusses what she plans to do as a mother and what she intends to follow as she raises her baby.
"I have always believed that children come through you, not from you," Priyanka said.
She added, "There is no belief like this is my child and I will shape everything. They come through you to find and build their own life."
Priyanka also swore not to impose her own insecurities, fears, or desires on her daughter.
Furthermore, the star revealed that her parents would never force a decision on her and that they would prefer not to control her but rather give her wings.
In January, Priyanka and Nick Jonas welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy. The name of the child has yet to be revealed by the couple.
