Following an investigation into an inappropriate WhatsApp audio recording, it has been confirmed that Tom will not return to his job with the network.
Immediately after the online emergence of an audio recording in which Tom is heard making misogynistic remarks about a female colleague, the sports journalist was asked to resign.
A video also showed him making racist and homophobic remarks.

Steve Crawley, the executive director of Fox Sports, said in a statement: "Our culture at Fox Sports is based on a respectful, inclusive environment and a fair go for all."
The network first hired Tom as a senior AFL reporter in 2015. For Fox Footy and Fox Sports 500, he covered cricket and AFL.
According to Fox Sport, the organization will not be making any further comments on the matter because of privacy concerns.
