Britney Spears thanked the #FreeBritney movement for helping to free her!
Following the suspension of her longtime conservator, Jamie Spears, Britney sent a message of love to the #FreeBritney movement.
On Monday, the Pop Princess tweeted, "#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction !!!!! I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it..."
A video included in the tweet showed Britney striking poses for the camera to Kanye West's song "Fade."
Her long blonde hair was styled straight as she posed silently for the camera. Wearing white shorts and a button-down crop top, she gazed into the camera with dramatic eye makeup.
Many of Britney's armies commented about her look, saying they're reminded of her appearance on her music video for the 2001 song "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman."
Fans of Britney spearheaded the #FreeBritney campaign to urge the end of her 13-year conservatorship battle and to give the icon the freedom and autonomy she has been denied for so long.
Britney, whose music played a big role in revitalizing teen pop in the 1990s and early 2000s, has also received a lot of support online amid her conservatorship battle from celebrities.
A week ago, Britney's father, Jamie, was officially suspended as conservator of her estate and personal life. Having recovered control of her personal and financial affairs was a huge victory for the singer.
