The actor, however, was greeted with crowds chanting "take a shower."
The noisy chorus of pro-hygiene voices immediately drowned him out as he stepped off the jet at the Jack Trice Stadium in Iowa.
Even though Ashton continued to hear the chants at the pre-game panel, he remained calm the entire time.
