The current number one album on the Billboard 200 chart is "Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish, with 238,000 equivalent album units sold in the United States in the week ending August 5, MRC Data reported.

In 2021, "Happier Than Ever" has the fifth-largest opening week by equivalent album units. Olivia Rodrigo's "Sour" scored 295,000 units on the June 5 chart, making it the year's biggest week.
Billie's latest effort, "Happier Than Ever," is her first studio release since "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" from 2019, which debuted at number one as well.
