Twitter users had no qualms about criticizing DaBaby, labeling him "homophobic."
Online backlash over a homophobic rant has caused DaBaby's alleged private video to resurface.
After an alleged video of his "giant eggplant" was leaked to the public, acclaimed rapper DaBaby trended on Twitter in 2019.
As a result of the short clip, however, DaBaby had gained a legion of new female fans who have all been blown away by his meat.
In addition to marketing his music effectively, it provided excellent publicity for him. With this alleged leak, the rapper was only cementing his status as a hip-hop heartthrob.
Meanwhile, a controversy now surrounding him has brought the video back into the spotlight once more. (Take a look at the video here!)
DaBaby's name has been swirling in the media since his Rolling Loud performance in Miami on July 25.
As a consequence of a controversial statement he made during his eventful performance, he has faced a great deal of backlash from social media users who accuse him of homophobia.
"If you didn't show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that'll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up," DaBaby said.
He made more remarks that angered the LGBT community, which was immediately responded to on social media. Twitter users had no qualms about criticizing DaBaby, labeling him "homophobic."
Now DaBaby is not letting things pass without intervention. As a response, the rapper took to his Instagram story on July 26 to say the internet twisted his words.
As far as DaBaby is concerned, his words were just part of his performance and engagement with his fans. He maintained that social media users are tripping and generating a lot of negativity and energy.
