"I feel like this becomes like a Harry Styles constant impression! Maybe I've took his voice on for something...," Liam quipped.
"It's been a very weird and very poorly few weeks - a lot of coughing - I feel for anyone who's ill right now," he explained before clarifying that he was not suffering from Covid-19.
Liam also told fans that his illness, which plagued his ability to exercise, had adversely affected his mental health, admitting that when he cannot train or exercise, he turns into a "depressive madman."
While Liam has been unable to pursue his normal activities, he has been teaching his son, Bear, to swim in his downtime.
Using the word "tasking" to describe the process, he added that he pushes his son quite hard from time to time. According to him, finding the right balance can be difficult.
Liam mentioned Bear's mother, British singer Cheryl, is quite good at making stuff like that.
In March 2017, Liam and Cheryl gave birth to their first child, Bear. In 2016, the former couple started dating and ended their relationship in 2018.
As a singer, Liam first gained attention when he auditioned for "The X Factor" in 2008. Following his elimination from the contest, he auditioned once again in 2010 and was put in a group with four other contestants to form One Direction.
