During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Ed Sheeran talked about the lead single from his upcoming album as well as the music video.
The music icon said, “The first single is really different – like really, really different … I was meant to play the single today but the video’s got a lot of pre-production that needs to be done on it.”
The single and video were not discussed further by Ed. This news comes after he announced earlier this month that he was working on new music.
A song he released last year was called “Afterglow.” He had previously shared his “No. 6 Collaborations Project” in 2019. Cardi B, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars were among the artists featured on it.
Ed began gaining popularity through YouTube after recording his first song in 2004. In 2011, he self-released the extended play, “No. 5 Collaborations Project.” That year, he signed to Asylum Records.
