Katy is expected to perform twice a week, according to another source. Her contract is the most expensive in Las Vegas residency history — $168 million.
Katy Perry's “Waking Up In Vegas” sounds like a very literal occurrence for the singer.
Katy, who pursued a career in gospel music as a teenager, recently confirmed reports stating that a residency had been set up in Sin City.
The 36-year-old has yet to share the details. However, she took center stage in the promotional video for the show, which plugged the venue's big headliners.
At the Resort, Katy appears with Zedd and Tiesto, who were previously announced as nightclub acts.
Additionally, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan joined her on stage.
One source said it will be a Disney-like production, where the “Dark Horse” singer will be flying across the stage.
