Cardi B's 'Bodak Yellow' Becomes the First Female Rap Song to Ever Be Certified Diamond

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has granted Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" Diamond certification.

"Bodak Yellow" has achieved Diamond certification by the RIAA, an achievement which signifies that the song sold an equivalent of 10 million copies in the United States.

As a result, Cardi B becomes the first female hip-hop artist to own a Diamond single. Moreover, "Bodak Yellow" was only the 45th song ever to receive a Diamond plaque.
