Shania Twain talked about how Britney Spears' Vegas residency inspired her in her new Home Now Radio episode on Apple Music on February 4.

"'Hit me baby one more time.' Oh yeah. Britney Spears," Twain, 55, said, adding she does not sound like the "Toxic" singer, but that she sings along to her records.

Twain had the chance to see Spears perform a few times during her "Britney: Piece of Me" residency at Zappos Theater, where she ended up for her second residency, "Let's Go!"

She loved the room and thought Spears' performance was outstanding. "I was motivated to get on that same stage, so her show inspired me a lot. It was a fantastic show," Twain continued.

Zappos Theater is only part of what ties these two talented women together. Twain went on to recall co-writing "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" for Spears' second studio album "Oops!... I Did It Again."

The "From This Moment On" singer sold more than 100 million records, making her history's best-selling female artist in country music. She is also among the most successful musicians ever.

Among the honorific titles Twain received was the title "Queen of Country Pop" and Billboard named her the leader of the '90s country-pop crossover stars.
