Taylor Swift Announces a Surprise New Album

Taylor Swift surprised her legion of fans with her ninth studio album called "Evermore."

"I'm elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore's sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern. It's called evermore," the singer-songwriter wrote on Twitter.

Swift, whose narrative songwriting has received widespread critical praises and media coverage, released her eighth studio album, "Folklore," less than five months ago.
