In an interview, Minaj said, "I chased a customer out of the restaurant once so I could stick my middle finger up at her and demand that she give me my pen back. I swear to God I was bad."
The rapper achieved public notice after releasing the mixtapes "Playtime Is Over" (2007), "Sucka Free" (2008), and "Beam Me Up Scotty" (2009).

The "Anaconda" rapper waited tables at Red Lobster in high school. However, Minaj was eventually fired for "discourtesy to customers," as reported by Insider.
