Ashanti Confirms She has been Diagnosed with COVID-19

Multi-talented artist Ashanti recently took to social media to confirm that she has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease.

Ashanti, who released her eponymous debut album in 2002, turned to Instagram and shared a statement that she had tested positive for COVID-19 but that she is fine and "not in any pain."

"Hey y'all I can't believe I'm saying this but tested positive for Covid-19. I'm ok and not in any pain," she wrote. "I'm actually down to the verzuz from my house… we're trying to figure it out!!"

Throughout her career, Ashanti has sold more than 27 million records worldwide. She has also acted in various productions aside from music.
